Friday, September 22 (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
Many hands make light work! Come take your mind off the upcoming quarter by lending a hand with some low-stress and socially engaging campus beautification. Event will include whacking blackberries, fixing fences, removing trash, and other “fun” activities. There may even be a chance to spot some of Des Moines’ native wildlife: rabbits, rats/mice, crows. Don’t regret missing out on this once in a year opportunity!

We will have gardening tools on hand though if you have pruning shears and gardening gloves, we ask that you bring your own so more people can participate.

Opportunity 3: Staff and Faculty Campus Cleanup

Friday, September 22 from 2:00 -3:00 p.m.
Help make Highline College beautiful! Join Public Safety in front of building 6 (east side) to prepare the campus for the first day of fall quarter. A well-maintained campus sends the message to students that we care about them and what happens at the college.

All supplies needed to safely participate in the cleanup will be provided! For more information contact Public Safety (206) 592-3218. All are welcome to participate.
